These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Palette for Notion browser extension, website, checkout flow, and related services ("Service"). By accessing, using, or purchasing the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Disclaimer: Palette for Notion is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or controlled by Notion Labs, Inc.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you use or purchase the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Overview

Palette for Notion customizes the visual appearance of Notion through client-side browser extension behavior, including CSS-based visual changes. The Service does not access, read, or store the content of your Notion pages.

• The Service works on top of Notion's web interface and browser extension platforms, which are outside our control.
• Service availability and feature behavior may be affected by changes made by Notion, browser vendors, extension stores, operating systems, or other third-party platforms.
• The Save to Account feature is a manual backup function for your visual presets, not real-time sync or a backup of Notion page content.

3. Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, license key, and device access.
• You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access, license misuse, or account compromise.

4. Licenses & Usage

• Licenses are personal, non-transferable, revocable access rights for your own use. They do not transfer ownership of the Service, code, brand, or any intellectual property.
• A Lifetime License means a one-time paid license to access the paid features for as long as Palette for Notion can technically and commercially provide the Service. It is not a guarantee that the Service, every feature, or compatibility with Notion will be available permanently.
• Device activation limits may apply depending on your plan. All current paid plans include up to three active devices at the same time unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• Sharing, reselling, publishing, or distributing license keys is prohibited and may result in immediate revocation without refund.
• Event-granted, promotional, or free licenses may be revoked if event conditions, campaign rules, or these Terms are violated.

5. Purchases, Billing & Taxes

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a license, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms, checkout disclosures, tax handling, and payment policies.

• Before a paid checkout, you must review these Terms, check the consent box, and confirm that you agree to them.
• Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Canceling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund past billing periods unless our Refund Policy applies.
• Lifetime Licenses are one-time purchases for eligible paid features, subject to the external dependency and service continuity limits described in these Terms.
• Taxes, currency conversion, payment processor fees, and other charges may apply based on your location and payment method.

6. External Platform Dependencies & Service Continuity

You understand and agree that Palette for Notion depends on third-party platforms we do not control, especially Notion's web interface and browser extension environments.

• If Notion changes, blocks, restricts, redesigns, or removes web structures, selectors, policies, access methods, or technical behavior that the Service relies on, some or all features may stop working.
• If browser vendors, extension stores, operating systems, network providers, payment processors, laws, or platform policies restrict the Service, we may be unable to continue providing some or all features.
• When feasible, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore, update, or adapt the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent operation, or restoration of every feature.
• If continued operation becomes technically impossible, legally restricted, commercially unreasonable, or materially harmful to the Service, we may limit, suspend, or discontinue affected features or the Service.
• You should purchase only if you understand and accept these third-party dependency, compatibility, and service continuity risks.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Bypass, tamper with, or attempt to bypass license validation, checkout consent, activation limits, or security mechanisms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, exploit, copy, or create a competing service from the Service except where prohibited by law.
• Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, harmful, misleading, or platform-violating purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, text, visual identity, and branding, is owned by Palette for Notion or its licensors. You retain rights to your presets, but grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them only as needed to provide the Service.

9. Updates & Modifications

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or remove parts of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption, but we may make changes immediately when needed for security, platform compatibility, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or service stability.

10. Termination

We may suspend, revoke, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create legal or security risk, or use a license in an unauthorized way. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and compatibility with Notion or any third-party platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palette for Notion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, presets, or expected savings arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, purchase of, or reliance on the Service.

13. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and the policies of our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Unless our Refund Policy or applicable law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable after the stated refund period.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
